Open educational resources (OER) support my free inquiry on hiking because they can help guide my adventures and answer my wonderings along the way. OER could become why I visit specific trails in the future. Additionally, by following my interests in the environment, I can use OER to support my research and add to my teaching resource collection. As an example, my family has lately been interested in hibernation, storms, and animals.
